Technologies

Combined-heat-and-power (CHP) plants are on average 100% more efficient than conventional plants using fossil fuels and offer a more than 90% higher efficiency. The technology is well proven and established. It is reliable, safe and easy to manage.

CO2NE cooperates with renowned plant construction vendors for maximum quality and efficiency.  CO2 Neutral Energy AB (CO2NE) is planning the construction or acquisition as well as the operation of block-type heat and power plants in Sweden.  CO2NE plans to build 120MWe + 500MWth of renewable biomass fired power plants on 60 sites across Sweden.

The plants use organic-ranking-cycle technology turbines fired by thermal oil boilers which are built in a factory, are road transportable and present minimal issues for planning and environmental permissions due to their low profile, low noise and minimal environmental impact. Fuel will be 100% renewable biomass from Sweden’s forests and farmland. The power stations produce electricity and heat and operate with an overall efficiency of 88%.
